Play the chords shown below. (go to the conventions page if you have trouble with the chord schematic concepts).  Click on the "sounds like" button to hear what the chord should sound like.  Click here to tune your guitar to ours.

Play the chord with one fluid downstroke, then play each note one by one making sure each note is heard clearly, then play the chord again with one downstroke.  Memorize each chord and its fingering structure.  Try changing from one chord to another making sure you hear every note of each chord.

 

-huge rule 1-  when changing chords, or playing scales, never play faster than you can hear each chord or note clearly!
