To make sure that the chord and scale audio clips sound the same on your guitar as they do on ours, use the schematic below to tune your guitar.  Just click on the letter of the open string to hear our guitar, then tune your string to that sound (if you don't understand the schematic below, go to the conventions page).  The guitar tuner shown is tuned to A 440 Hz (that's the frequency, in waves per second, that the "A" note is defined in standard tuning).
